Quote this lotOur polyester knit and interlock fabric closeout lots come from order changes, overruns, and discontinued color runs from textile importers and Central American garment manufacturers. The fabric itself is dense-weave 100% polyester — what the global textile trade calls interlock or polyester interlock (double knit construction with smooth two-sided finish), and what US retail markets call polyester knit fabric. Both terms describe the same material in our lots: matte finish, soft hand, structurally identical to first-quality stock at retail textile suppliers. The reason it's at Carontex isn't quality — it's commercial timing. The lot was sized for a specific buyer who pivoted, or the color cycled out of seasonal demand, or it's the tail end of a larger production run. Hi-vis colors (neon orange, fluorescent lime green) are valuable for ANSI Class 2/3 safety vest manufacturers, road maintenance uniforms, and event signage where vibrant pigmentation matters more than brand association. Dark colors (black, montana green) work for corporate uniforms, school programs, theatrical productions, and apparel linings. We sell by full roll, by kilogram, and by container (FCL ≥18,000 kg). HS classification 6004.10 (polyester knit) / 6005 (polyester knitted) applies depending on construction. All shipments leave from Zip Río Blanco industrial park in San Pedro Sula via Puerto Cortés. We export FOB Puerto Cortés or CIF to major textile import ports worldwide: Mundra and Nhava Sheva (India), Karachi (Pakistan), Chittagong (Bangladesh), Port Klang (Malaysia), Alexandria (Egypt), Manila (Philippines), Durban (South Africa), plus standard US East/Gulf Coast routes. CAFTA-DR provides duty-free entry into the United States; certain markets benefit from GSP+ preferences — ask via WhatsApp for current applicable rates. Lots rotate weekly; new colors arrive based on the import calendar.
Neon colors (orange, fluorescent lime) are ideal for ANSI Class 2/3 high-visibility vests, road safety uniforms, traffic control apparel, and construction garments. 100% polyester withstands industrial laundering cycles without fading.
Dense weave performs well for promotional flags, event banners, trade show backdrops, and decorative signage. Solid colors render uniformly and the fabric has natural drape.
100% polyester is the ideal substrate for dye-sublimation. Neon base colors produce especially vibrant prints because the fluorescent base intensifies overprinted hues — ideal for promotional sportswear and custom apparel runs.
Soft hand and medium weight make it useful as jacket linings, theatrical wardrobe, decorative covers, and structured non-stretch garments. Cuts cleanly, minimal fraying at edges.
Manual sorting process ensures purity and consistency in every shipment.
Container-ready logistics via Puerto Cortes for worldwide delivery.
Trade agreement benefits for USA-bound shipments. Duty-free eligible.
Full support in English and Spanish. Response within 24 hours.
Both terms describe dense-weave 100% polyester knitted structures, but with regional and technical nuances. 'Interlock' is the term used by textile mills and importers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the global trade — it specifically refers to a double-knit construction with a smooth two-sided finish (no distinct face/back). 'Polyester knit fabric' is the broader US retail term covering interlock plus related dense knit constructions. Our closeout lots typically meet both definitions: matte finish, soft drape, suitable for hi-vis garments, linings, flags, and sublimation. If your buyer specifies a particular construction (single jersey vs interlock vs double knit), message us with the spec and we'll confirm which lots match.
This batch is 100% polyester with no elastane — no mechanical stretch. It has soft drape and some flex from the dense knit structure, but it's not a stretch knit. If you need 95/5 poly-spandex stretch interlock for fitted athletic wear, message us via WhatsApp — lots rotate and we can flag you when stretch construction comes in.
Yes. 100% polyester accepts dye-sublimation with standard ink and heat press settings (180-200°C, 40-60 seconds). The neon colors (orange, lime) produce especially vibrant prints because the fluorescent base intensifies overprinted hues. We can ship a sample swatch before you commit to volume — message via WhatsApp.
