Not all rags are equal. A thin jersey rag works fine for surface dusting but falls apart when you're scrubbing hydraulic fluid off a press bed. Our industrial rags are sorted into weight classes: light (jersey, 140-180 GSM), medium (fleece, 200-280 GSM), and heavy (terry, 300-400 GSM). Heavier rags absorb more, resist tearing under scrubbing pressure, and survive multiple wash cycles. We sort by color too — grey rags (W2G) hide shop grime between washes, while white shows contamination for quality-critical applications. This sorting happens by hand at our San Pedro Sula facility, where trained workers remove hardware, inspect for defects, and classify by weight and fiber.

Our standard cut is approximately 12x12 to 18x18 inches, depending on source fabric. The W23 black jersey wiper is precision-cut to 12x12. Uncut options (W2B) come as full garment pieces — sleeves, panels, bodies — for customers who prefer larger wiping surfaces.
100% cotton rags (W1, W2) handle most industrial solvents including acetone, MEK, mineral spirits, and degreasers. Poly-cotton blends (W3) resist some solvents that dissolve polyester. For acid applications, cotton is recommended as polyester degrades in strong acids.
Minimum order is one pallet (~1,000 lbs). Most industrial buyers order by the container: 20ft holds ~18,000 lbs, 40ft holds ~40,000 lbs. We ship FOB Puerto Cortes with CAFTA-DR duty-free eligibility for US-bound shipments.
